Birthday Storm

Brock's birthday was this week...and we celebrated with Brandon the night before (Brandon cooked an amazing steak dinner for us).  Here's a photo of the boys relaxing on the deck after dinner.

Then, we had straight line winds blow in overnight and topple the beautiful tree in our front yard.  So sad! 

After Brock got off work, our favorite neighbor came over with 2 relatives and they worked with Brock to chop up the tree & haul it to the curb. Not a fun way to spend Brock's birthday, but we are very thankful to have amazing & helpful neighbors!
