2 Singing Videos

Braxton loves to sing! In this first video he sings "Beautiful things".
Lyrics: "God makes beautiful things, He makes beautiful things out of us.
God makes me new, He is making me new!"

This second video is Brax singing "The David and Goliath Song".

Lyrics: "Only a boy named David. Only a rippling brook.
Only a boy named David and five little stones he took.
And one little stone went in the sling and the sling went round and round.
And one little stone went up in the air and the giant came tumbling down."

Family Visit

My sisters, niece, and mom all came to visit last week.  It was really great to see them and spend time together!  Here are some of the adorable photos!

Bed rest update

This week we've passed a bed rest milestone.  I've been on bed rest for one month and I am now seven months pregnant.  Several doctors appointments each week show that the baby and I both are doing well.

We have been so thankful for help from friends and family - bringing meals and arranging to take Braxton to the park or overnight.  The people from our church have been really amazing and have been such a blessing to us. Highlights of the month were visits from my sisters and my mom - it was so good to spend time with them (I'll post photos on the blog soon).

More fun at Home

Here are some photos of us this week featuring:  the first photo Braxton ever took of mommy & daddy AND a photo of the first day Braxton went to his new school: chalk drawing outside (he's in the red coat on the left).

Here are two new photos.  Brock has been really amazing and has done an awesome job taking care of everything while I've been on bed rest.

Funny Braxton Story

This weekend Brock was telling me how thankful he is that I'm out of the hospital.  He said, "Diane, I would give away everything I own to have you healthy and at home with us."  Braxton overheard this and said, "mom, he's not going to give away my stuff, is he?"

Bed Rest Update

Thank you all for your prayers!  I am very thankful to be out of the hospital now and at home on bed rest.  Yesterday Braxton entertained himself by making a "car train" through our living room.  When he was done said, "take a picture of my funny face!"
