Pregnancy Special Care Unit

Yesterday morning I got a phone call from my doctor saying that there were some concerns with my blood work.  By noon I was admitted to the hospital at the U of MN Pregnancy Special Care Unit. Yesterday, the doctors were discussing the worst case scenario (if my blood work is off due to HELLPS syndrome, which is what happened during my pregnancy with Braxton, the only cure is to deliver the baby within days).  After much testing, blood work, monitoring, and ultrasounds we will find out shortly if I will be able to go home tonight, or if I need to stay in the hospital longer.  The concern is with my liver which is working perfectly but is inflamed.

Please pray for us - specifically for two things:
1) that my liver will remain at normal levels for the remainder of the pregnancy
2) that our baby boy does not need to be delivered until at least 36 weeks.  I am currently at 24 weeks with this pregnancy - and a baby born this early would be sure to have a difficult road ahead.  Please pray along with us for a full term delivery!

Church with Avery & Isla

This weekend Aunt De came to church with us and brought Avery & Isla too!  We took photos by the flowers at church & played at the playground together afterwards.
