San Francisco
Last week I had a business trip to San Francisco. Grandma Debbie came to help watch Braxton (who had high fevers all 4 days!) while Brock was at work. We are so thankful that Grandma Debbie's was able to help us!
The highlight of my San Francisco Trip was that Dor was there at the same time for work! We walked fisherman's wharf together, ate fish & chips, saw Alcatraz & the Golden Gate Bridge from afar, and visited the famous sea lions at Pier 39. We had a blast! Here are some photos and one video of the sea lions:

Snowless 3rd Birthday
Happy Birthday Braxton! We love you! Today is a unique birthday for Braxton because we still have no snow at our house in Minnesota. This is likely to happen only once or twice in his lifetime!
FAVORITE THINGS: Braxton loves playing with cars. He loves lining cars up, "filling them up" with gas, and parking them "at the parking lot". He also loves singing, running, and playing outside!
FAVORITE FOODS: Ketchup and french fries, grapes, animal crackers, raisins, popcorn, chocolate milk (which he calls "grandmas special milk").
TALKING: Braxton is a good negotiator. He often will say things like "how about I have just a few more grapes?" or "How about I play with my cars for 5 more minutes before we go to bed, okay?"
QUIRKY: Whenever Braxton sees teenagers playing basketball at the park, he always runs right in the middle of the game and tries to play with the group or steal the basketball. Thankfully, the teens have always been patient with him so far!

A Relaxing New Years Day
We have enjoyed spending the last 4 days relaxing at home, watching movies and flaming the fireplace. We opened the last Christmas presents and tasted homebrewed "Braxton Smashing Pumpkin Ale" from Titus and Jolene in Colorado. We had a fun New Year's Eve at home watching movies with Brandon. A calm & relaxing way to start the new year. Welcome 2012!
