Flower Bed Video

Today Brock put in a 30 foot by 3 foot perenial flower garden that wraps around our lower deck. While Braxton and I brought lunch out for Brock--we took this video. You can see Braxton's awesome blue eyes and can even hear the birds chirping.

Video - Sitting all by himself

Today--Braxton's been practicing sitting all by himself. He usually can make it about 2 minutes before he starts to lean and tip over. Here is a video we took this morning--and the very first photo of him sitting alone.

First Trip to Iowa

This weekend we drove to Iowa. Brock's sister Doirean flew home from California so there was a big party on Saturday with many of Brock's relatives. Braxton loved watching the crowd of 40+ people. I think Brax is a budding social butterfly.

First Mother's Day

Today I had a very special first mother's day... breakfast in bed (my favorite -- coffee, a bagel & cream cheese, and an orange!) from my beloved husband prior to him doing all of the laundry and Swiffering the whole house. What a blessing he is to me! Braxton also gave me a present! At daycare he did a "toe painting" art project that turned out to be a little Marigold in a pot with Braxton's footprints on it. So cute!

Big Blue Eyes & I love you Video

Brock, Braxton & I had a wonderful and relaxing Saturday. We all slept in late (until 6am!), hung out around the house taking photos (look at our blue eyes!), then went to Burnsville mall to stroller around. Very fun!

Cousins Visit from Missouri

Braxton's cousins came to Minnesota to meet him for the first time. Brittney, Devin and Konnor were so happy to see him! We loved having them come visit the house and hang out with the baby!

Visiting the Mall of America

Yesterday Braxton went to the Mall of America for the first time. We met Lauren, Avery, Jolene, and De there. It was fun to see everyone (Avery's 9 months old now!) and Braxton behaved beautifully.
