Breakfast with the Bunnies

This weekend we went to a "Breakfast with the Bunnies" event at our community center where Braxton got to see several bunnies up close & do a few art projects. Then we went to a local church and met up with my friend Liberty & her boys Cash & Lavonte for an Easter Egg Hunt (and more bunnies).  The boys had so much fun running around and being boys!

Fun Week

We have had a busy week!  First, Braxton and Brock went to Iowa.  Braxton says that he visited a farm and saw baby cows, chickens, a goat, and heard a koala in the trees.  I understand that most of this story is correct.   

Brock and I were given tickets to see the theater production Memphis at the Ordway.  We hadn't been to a play in forever - and it was really fun! (we put the camera on top of a garbage can to get this photo)

And we also got to see Grandma Debbie and tell her Happy Birthday!

Laughs

Braxton is funny these days.  He loves to laugh and tell jokes - he has a fun personality!

Saint Patrick's Day

Today we took a walk by a local construction company and made green jello.  We also froze some matchbox cars in green ice to play with during bath time tonight.    

Another Sunny Day!

We have had a very mild winter with very little snow.  This weekend, we've got 60 degrees and sunshine which feels like summertime.  Braxton and I got an oil change at Walmart today and walked to the Firetruck Park while the car was being worked on.  We had fun!

I also have to share a funny story from dinnertime tonight. At dinner, Braxton and Brock were rhyming words back and forth (Braxton is loving rhyming lately!) when Brock said, "what rhymes with loopy?"  Braxton said, "hoopy, toopy, POOPY!" and started laughing and laughing.  He was laughing so hard!  Then Braxton took a moment to think of another rhyme for a "bad word" and said, "Daddy, what rhymes with hut?"  Brock said, "sut, fut, BUTT"  And again, Braxton laughed SO HARD.  It was really funny.

Wind and Sunshine

Today it was a BEAUTIFUL day in Minnesota and we spent two and a half hours at the playground. So much fun!

Visiting Baby Conor

This weekend we went to visit my friend Cheryl and her new 2 month old baby boy named Conor.  Adorable!
