Holiday Fun

The holiday decorations are up and we are really enjoying the nice weather (45 degrees in Minnesota today!)  This weekend my sister Dori sent us a special personalized video from Santa.  It was really cute! Here is a video of Braxton watching it.

3 random videos

Last week we took a few new videos of our crazy days at home.
1) Flying like superman

2) Eating a grilled cheese sandwich and ketchup

3) Brock telling a bedtime story called "The Kitty and the Chainsaw"
(I took this video in the dark so there will be no picture only audio)

Gifts from Santa?

At school this week the teachers asked the kids in Braxton's class "What do you want from Santa?" Here were the answers:
Jamie - I want a puppy and a Barbie
Kendell - I want tinkerbell.
Kaelee - I want a doll.
Adalynn - I am asking for presents.
Scarlett - I want a barbie.
Braxton - I want a sucker.
Yasmin - I want a doll house.
Ben - I want a sucker too.
Elise - I want a barbie.
Hannah - I want a dolly.
This list made me laugh.  The girls in the class want to play with dolls and puppies but the two boys in the class want to eat suckers!

School Christmas Program

This weekend was Braxtons' School Christmas Program.  Grandma Debbie & our friend Ginny came to see it!

The program itself was 8 minutes in length.  The featured songs were "Rudolph" and "Frosty".  Braxton was acting a bit "off" at the performance.  Instead of singing loudly, he sat quietly with his hands folded during the entire program.  He did not sing one word!  His teacher hugged Brax afterwards and said to me, "We know he can sing every word to both of those songs!" Sure enough, last night after the performace he spiked a fever.

Christmas Crafts

This week we did a few Christmas crafts.  Two of our favorites were the magnetic nativity scene (featured below as it currently looks on our fridge)
and the Christmas gifts for Braxton's 4 favorite teachers at school (we made the Merry Christmas message circles by printing on sticker paper and putting them on bottom of kisses and rolos, then printed the blue paper message and folded it over a regular baggie. Cute and simple).

Brax & Daddy

Smiles, Rolls & Guns

Here are a few photos of our weekend.  A few smiles, rolling and rolling on the floor at the open toddler gym, and looking at guns with daddy!
