4 things

1) Over the last two days Brax has been wearing his black hat a lot.  He looks adorable in it!

2) Brax got a letter in the mail yesterday from Grandma Debbie that held magnetic ABC's.  He loves playing with these and is really smart...displayed in video number one!

3) The second video shows off his new song "Ring Around the Rosey"

4) Nightmares suck.  This month Brax started having them nearly every night.  The last video is black but you can hear him screaming "hat and coat and shoes!" at 3am through his nightmare because apparently in his dream he wanted to go outside and play.  (follow up note:  the first few days he did this we ran into his bedroom to check on him....and each time he was laying down, eyes closed, fast asleep.  Now we just listen without rushing in and after 1 minute the nightmare has past and he's snoring again).

 

Roadtrip Boys

On Tuesday Brock and Braxton took a road trip to Iowa.  First stop - hanging out with Brock's brother Brice and his two kids Erin & Patrick.  Second stop - going to see Brock's sister De where Avery was visiting.  

How To Survive...

"How to Survive a Blizzard (a.k.a. 15 Inches of New Snow)"

1.  Start your day at 5am with a little Cat in the Hat viewing.

2.  Find a laundry basket to play with (if you hide under it no one can see you).  Yell "Braxton where are you?" repeatedly and then just laugh and laugh.

3.  Pull out the basket of b-balls and throw them on the bed.  Show off your smarts by saying each color as you throw them (and if the balls don't go where you want - feel free to just scream loudly at them).

3.  Eat Snow.  While you are having fun playing outside say, "I fun! I fun!"

5.  After changing out of your wet clothes run around the kitchen with half of a Wild Cherry Pepsi Zero box on your head.

4. Play with animal magnets. Ask "what's a ______ say?" and then answer your own question (don't stop to think about why the tiger and elephant make the same sound!)

5.  Play with Play-Doh! 

 

6.  After changing out of your play-doh clothes jump and jump and jump.  Then end the story with one final goodbye!

Outside

Minnesota is supposed to get 6-10 inches of snow this afternoon so we needed to enjoy the last of the snow-free weather quickly!  At 9am this morning it was 40 degrees and Braxton and I played on the deck. 

 

 

 

More Denise

While we waited for Denise's friend Kaely to come pick her up for work we had one last photo shoot. Adorable!  The video shows how much Braxton loved stomping in the mud puddles.

Happy Valentines!

Today was the perfect day for Braxton to wear his "Cause I'm a Ladies Man" t-shirt from Aunt Dor. I asked him to smile for the photo and this is the scrunchy face he did.  Happy Valentines!

 

Aunt Denise Visit

My sister Denise flew from Missouri to spend Sunday & Monday at our house.  We had a fun hanging out, shopping, hiding Brax in a pile of stuffed animals like in the movie ET, and Braxton LOVED hanging like a monkey on Denise's back.  A really fun day!

 

 

 

Lunch with Grandma

Grandma Debbie returned from her mission trip to Nicaragua this week (where she and the team provided free medical/dental care and told people about Jesus).  We met her for lunch and she brought special gifts from Nicaragua and birthday presents for Braxton.
