Urgent Care Visit

We spent last night at Urgent Care.  Here's how the story started...because of Brock's work schedule we aren't often able to attend church as a family, so we've been on the lookout for a church with different service times.  We learned about a local church with a 7:30pm Friday night service and attended for the first time last night.  We dropped Braxton off in the really nice kids area - then just before the church service started a lady from the kids area pulled us out. She said Braxton cut his head and probably needs stitches (apparently he was holding a Thomas the Train toy when he tripped and fell on it).  We drove to Urgent Care where they decided that he needed several stitches to close the 3 cm wound.  Unfortunately, Braxton was not cooperating.  In the end, he received one stitch and the remainder of the wound was closed with surgical glue.  We took the photo below last night after we got home (this is after the glue had dried so this is what it will look like for the next 2 weeks).  Luckily - a few weeks ago when Braxton attended his friend Ruby's birthday party he was given some cartoon car bandaids. We put on one this morning and these fun bandaids made it feel much better!

Preschool Classroom

This week Braxton graduated into the Preschool Classroom at Daycare (he goes to daycare 2 days a week and absolutely loves it).  One big highlight of his new classroom is the Guinea Pig named Fiona - he loves her!  I snapped a few photos of the classroom - its divided into several different play areas (trucks in one spot, blocks, large motor, dress-up & play kitchen in another).
