Dropping Blue Man Video

Brock and Braxton were playing with the "Blue Man" stuffed animal (that my sister Denise gave him) last night and Braxton was giggling alot. Here is the video:

Kisses & Michael Jackson Music

Brock and I both grew up in the 80's when Michael Jackson was the coolest. This week we dedicated one of our evening music-and-dance-a-thon sessions to playing only Michael's music. Here is a video of Brock and Braxton just before bed - lots of soft kisses to the baby while Michael Jackson blares in the background.

First Father's Day

For Brock's first father's day I made him a photo book featuring many photos of Brock and Brax together. Additionally, this week at daycare they took a photo of Braxton and made Brock this cute card and photo keychain.

Talking, Yawn and Sneeze Video

Braxton has started to babble--and he seems to think that he is actually talking. Here is a video which features his newest talking, a yawn and a sneeze.

Braxton's First Assisted Steps

Braxton took his first assisted steps in his "Tot Glider" walker this evening. He had only been in the Tot Glider for 2-3 minutes when we took this video. He had such a blast being free!

Playing with Wobbly Duck

This afternoon Braxton had fun playing with his wobbly duck toy. This video shows him loving it and screaming at it all in one.

Five Months Old & Having Fun

My sister Denise came to visit us this week & was able to hang out with Braxton. Here's a cute picture of the two of them.

This month we started Braxton on rice cereal. We hit another milestone this week when we added mushed up bananas to his cereal. The first time Brax ever tasted bananas he went CRAZY. He couldn't get enough of the stuff (he was acting like it was cocaine or something!) We caught some of this event on the video below (you can see me trying to hold Braxton in his seat as he lunges for the spoon and you can hear Brock & I laughing in amazement).

Each evening for the past week Brock & I have been playing music in the kitchen & dancing around with Braxton. (We've been using a great website http://www.dizzler.com/ where you can type in the name of any song or artist & it will play the song for you.) The video below features Braxton bouncing to the song "You Can't Rollerskate in a Buffalo Herd" by Roger Miller. It's a short video but it makes me smile.

Two videos of Sunday at home...

This morning I gave Braxton a bottle and snuggled with him in our bed. He seemed a bit cold so I tucked him in to the covers and took this video.

Last night, Brock and I put Brax in his jumper toy and took this video of him jumping and playing.

Mom & Baby Class Reunion

Our mom & baby class got together again for a reunion. It has been 2 months since we have all been together and it was fun to see how the babies have grown (our kid is the happy boy in the Star Wars t-shirt).

First Trip to Duluth

Braxton, Brock & I went to Duluth this week for the first time (Diane had a work conference to attend). We all had fun--and Braxton even got to swim in a pool for the first time.

Visit from the Cloutiers

On Monday, Braxton got to meet some special relatives. Diane's Aunt Loretta visited the house along with Loretta's daughters Jacki and Katie and Katie's kids 5-year old Philip and 15 month old Sophie. It was fun to see them and have time to talk & catch up!
